Our Shea Butter is Organic Certified and is
of East Africa origin, the Nalotica variety from the women’s fair trade
co-operatives of Uganda.
Due to its extra softness it is sometimes referred to as the Crème de la
Crème of Shea Butters. It is a shea butter that is far softer and
creamier than the much harder variety of West Africa and as a result is
much sort after.
Naturally high in shea olein, melting more gently into the skin, it is
highly prized for its superior moisturising properties, very smooth
creamy texture and mild fragrance.
It is cold pressed and unrefined to help retain the quality, locking in
the goodness rather than processing and possibly loosing key and unique
properties during refining.
Prized for its ingredients and innate properties, the butter contains an
abundance of vitamins, minerals, proteins and an important unique fatty
acid.
Shea butter is a natural extract from the fruit of the Shea tree found
across Western & Eastern Africa.
Shea is a Nut Product, a point of consideration for those people with
nut allergies, however, when unrefined and pure it has a nutty aroma and
a yellowish texture.
From a very traditional recipe having been used for centuries as a
lifestyle for its moisturising and reputed healing properties, it has
been more recently discovered by the Western World and is now used more
widely by many cosmetics companies.
Our Shea Butter is not altered or added to for presentation reasons to
suit Western markets, our Shea is all original, it is not bulked up or
its percentage content reduced by adding other ingredients, as a result
it is amazing how only a little goes a long way.

helping minor ailments such as eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, dry skin,
dry scalp, rejuvenates hair and skin, moisturising and suppleness,
